Peach blossoms and tulips blanket the mountains — step into the dreamlike "Meifeng" to seek the fragrance

It’s truly a world of flowers! Nantou’s National Taiwan University Mountain Experimental Farm "Meifeng" is currently ablaze with blossoms, including honey peach flowers, tulips, and Phalaenopsis aphrodite subsp. formosana. Among them, the "Peach Blossom Paradise Corridor," a semi-arched tunnel woven from peach tree branches and leaves, exudes an overwhelmingly romantic atmosphere, attracting many visitors to stop and take photos. The farm says the best time for flower viewing lasts until the end of March, and the public is encouraged to seize the opportunity.

Meifeng Farm is currently hosting the "Spring Feast" event. In addition to the abundant peach blossoms and tulips, there are also Spanish lavender, Pulsatilla chinensis, Muscari armeniacum, and daffodils, creating a vibrant sea of flowers. Some visitors say the tulips alone come in shades of pink, red, and golden yellow — all incredibly beautiful and eye-catching.

The farm also features another "exclusive" Meifeng display room for Phalaenopsis aphrodite subsp. formosana. This rare species of Taiwanese moth orchid is unique to Meifeng and has only been successfully propagated here so far. Visitors can also stroll along the Poplar Trail to experience the picturesque beauty firsthand, as if walking through a painting.

Park officials say that visitors can explore the park along the scenic walking trails, which take about one and a half hours in total. Aside from freely enjoying the flowers, the park also offers guided tours at fixed points. The "Spring Feast" event runs until the 31st, and various flowers continue to bloom across the farm. It is recommended that visitors avoid crowded holidays and choose weekdays for their visit.
