“Cherry blossoms have bloomed in central Tokyo!” The Japan Meteorological Agency announced this news on the afternoon of the 25th. Around 13:30 Taiwan time, agency staff visited Yasukuni Shrine to observe the standard cherry blossom tree and confirm the blooming status. They found that five cherry blossoms had opened, prompting the announcement of “cherry blossoms have bloomed in central Tokyo.” This year, the cherry blossoms bloomed one day earlier than the average.

Today, the temperature in Tokyo exceeded 22.3 degrees Celsius, giving a feel of spring blossoms. A standard cherry blossom tree located within Yasukuni Shrine in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, is used to determine whether the cherry blossoms in the city have bloomed. Around 13:30 Taiwan time, Japan Meteorological Agency staff visited Yasukuni Shrine to observe the standard tree and found that five cherry blossoms had opened, leading to the announcement of “cherry blossoms have bloomed in central Tokyo.” This year, the cherry blossoms bloomed one day earlier than the average, but nine days later than last year.
