Southeast Asia’s Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival – Taiwan’s “Heart-Shaped” Balloon Debuts in Malaysia

In recent years, hot air ballooning has become one of Taiwan’s most popular outdoor activities, attracting millions of domestic and international travelers to experience its wonders. The 6th Putrajaya International Hot Balloon Fiesta will also take place from March 27 to March 30.

First held in 2009, the “Putrajaya International Hot Balloon Fiesta” is now in its sixth edition. This year, up to 11 countries and 23 hot air balloons (including those from the United States, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Hong Kong

In addition, the Tourism Bureau’s iconic “heart-shaped” hot air balloon and Taitung County’s hot air balloons, which appear every year at the Taitung International Hot Air Balloon Festival in Taiwan, will also be on-site to join in the fun with travelers from around the world. Unlike previous years, this year’s Taizi City Hot Air Balloon Festival has specially set up a “Family Picnic Area” and a “Children’s Play Area.” Travelers can sit with family and friends on the grassy banks of Taizi City Lake, leisurely watching the hot air balloons float across the sky while enjoying live band performances. The most anticipated event of each day is undoubtedly the nighttime hot air balloon fireworks show, where all the balloons gather together. The flames inside the balloons, combined with dazzling fireworks and thrilling music, will surely create an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
