Fun for Children's Day: 251 Public Scenic Areas Across Taiwan Offer Discounts

With Children's Day coinciding with Tomb Sweeping Day, have you decided where to take your kids for the three-day holiday? The Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Department of Social and Family Affairs has partnered with 251 public scenic areas and cultural-educational facilities nationwide to offer special deals on Children's Day or during the holiday period. Attractions such as Cingjing Farm, Wuling Farm, and the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium are offering free entry for children under 6 and half-price tickets for those under 12.

The Department of Social and Family Affairs stated that among the 251 public scenic and recreational facilities, apart from the 146 that already offer free admission, 105 venues—including the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium, the National Center for Traditional Arts, Cingjing Farm, and Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area—will provide free or discounted entry for children on Children's Day or during the three-day holiday.

Among them, four public scenic and cultural-educational facilities—the National Museum of History, the National Museum of Taiwan Soil Bank Exhibition Hall in Nangang, Kenting Eluanbi Park, and Houli Horse Ranch—will even offer free entry for accompanying parents.
