To celebrate Women and Children's Day on April 4, China Airlines will offer passengers "Thunder Chocolate (known as the Taiwanese version of Thor)" on that day. This includes over 60 flights departing from both Songshan Airport and Taoyuan Airport to destinations in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong. All passengers can enjoy it with their meals.

The Japanese Thor chocolate, which has recently become a trend in Taiwan, has also helped boost the popularity of the locally made Thunder Chocolate. Many people are "supporting domestic products," causing the Taiwanese brand’s Thunder Chocolate to sell out at times. China Airlines specially coordinated with the manufacturer to secure over 15,000 pieces, sharing this sweet treat with passengers on Women and Children's Day. In addition to enjoying it on board, China Airlines will also hand out Thunder Chocolate to children at check-in counters at both Songshan and Taoyuan airports, giving kids a festive surprise.
