Celebrate Children's Day – Hello Kitty Funfair at Maokong Gondola Launches on 4/4

Children's Day is here. From April 4 to 6, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation is hosting the Hello Kitty Funfair at the outdoor plaza outside the Maokong Gondola Zoo Station. The Kitty mascot meet-and-greet and photo session will kick off on the 4th, limited to the first 70 visitors who purchase fair tickets, and on the 5th and 6th, the same perk is available to the first 35 ticket buyers only. The event will also feature the sale of Hello Kitty and panda-themed EasyCards, along with other limited-edition merchandise.

The funfair runs daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the holiday period. The Hello Kitty mascot meet-and-greet is scheduled for 11 a.m. each day, with an additional 2 p.m. session on the 4th. In addition to the Kitty merchandise stalls, the event will also offer limited-edition Children’s Day panda goods, including tumblers, file folders, backpacks, kids’ T-shirts, and puzzles.

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation stated that it has recently collaborated with EasyCard Corporation to release various themed EasyCards featuring Hello Kitty and her panda best friend. There are three types in total: regular EasyCards priced at NT$170 each, character-designed EasyCards at NT$450 each, and sticker sheets at NT$350 per pack.

The character-designed EasyCards are exclusively sold at the Maokong Gondola Zoo Station, starting from 8:30 a.m. on April 4. Regular EasyCards and sticker sheets are available in limited quantities respectively at the Maokong Gondola Zoo Station and the Taipei Main Station EasyCard merchandise shop.
