Celebrate Children’s Day Holiday with Theme Park Deals Across Taiwan

The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications stated that to ensure both the public and children enjoy a joyful and unforgettable Children’s Festival, theme parks across Taiwan have introduced a variety of promotions, including free or discounted entry for children. To encourage the use of public transportation, there are also special offers for those presenting valid transit tickets upon entry.

During the Qingming and Children’s Day holidays, the following theme parks offer free admission for children under 12: Leofoo Village Theme Park, Janfusun Fancyworld, Ocean Park Taipei, Shoufeng Forest Ecological Resort, Jian Shan Pi Dian Jiangnan Resort, Shangri-La Amusement Park, and Baxian Datang Hot Springs.

Additionally, “Miniature Land Theme Park” offers a general admission discount price of NT$399; “Doraemon Science Theme Park” offers a child ticket (ages 3–12) at a discounted price of NT$150; “Lihpao Land” offers a discounted rate of NT$100 for those in uniform or aged under 12; “Dongshi Forest Recreation Area” offers a discounted child entry ticket for NT$160 on April 4; “West Lake Resort” has a flat rate of NT$250; “Cloudland Amusement Park” offers a one-day pass starting from NT$299; “Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village” has a discounted price of NT$580 and includes a free ride on the Sun Moon Lake Ropeway; “Little Kenting Resort” offers a two-day-one-night stay with meals for two people starting from NT$3,450; “8 Great Forests Theme Park” has a flat discounted price of NT$350; “Wilderness World” offers a deal for two people for NT$700 when you like their Facebook page; “Atayal Resort” allows children with exam scores over 90 to shout a slogan upon entry to enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$100.

The Tourism Bureau has also coordinated with theme park operators to provide more favorable rates for those using public transportation. These include Leofoo Village Theme Park, where visitors who take Ubus or Hsinchu Bus can enjoy a discounted entry price of NT$599 with a transit ticket and also receive a piece of pineapple cake; Miniature Land Theme Park offers a discounted entry price of NT$359 with a transit ticket when taking Ubus or Hsinchu Bus; Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village offers round-trip bus tickets from Nantou Bus (Taichung Station – Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village) plus entry for NT$900, or round-trip tickets from Renyou Bus (Taichung Station – Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village) plus entry for NT$840; “Janfusun Fancyworld” offers a discounted entry price of NT$250 with a transit ticket when taking Taixi Bus or Ritem Bus.
