The best time to visit Seville is from March to May. During this period, the weather is mild, tourist crowds are not as overwhelming as in the summer holidays, and hotel prices have not yet surged. If you have the time,every spring, Seville hosts the week-long Holy Week (Semana Santa, this year from April 13–19) leading up to Easter Eve, followed by the two-week Seville Fair(this year from May 5–10).

The Holy Week (Semana Santa) is one of the most culturally significant festivals in the Roman Catholic tradition, where rows of processions and street-side spectators gather in streets and plazas to sing together. The Seville Fair is a massive six-day fair featuring horse parades, carnival games, parties, and traditional Sevillanas dance performances.

If you come here, don’t miss visiting the Seville Royal Palace (Real Alcázar), which takes on an even more fairy-tale-like charm in spring. The construction of the Seville Royal Palace dates back to the late medieval Moorish period under Arab rule, and it showcases a blend of architectural styles from the Renaissance, Baroque, and 19th century. The original palace was built by the Almohad dynasty in the 11th century. In 1987, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site.

Here, you can enjoy delicious Spanish tapas while watching flamenco dancing or sip wine by the banks of the Guadalquivir River. This is also a city known for bullfighting, passionate flamenco, and rich church cultural history.
