Don’t worry—Chimei Museum has thoughtfully adjusted its schedule.Starting in July, the Chimei Museum’s closure day will change from Monday to Wednesday. Additionally, on the first Monday reopening day, July 3, the museum is offering free admission to all permanent exhibitions as a special promotion. Everyone, regardless of age, origin, or residency, can claim a free ticket to visit the permanent exhibits.

To help the public better plan weekend holiday trips, after careful evaluation and public feedback, the Chimei Museum in Tainan decided to break from tradition by changing its closure day from Monday to Wednesday, effective July. This not only provides an additional travel option for those who regularly take Mondays off but also aims to promote tourism in Tainan, encouraging visitors to spend an extra day in the city.

To celebrate this new convenience-focused measure, the museum is also hosting a “First Monday Reopening Celebration” event.Visitors who reserve a spot for July 3 through the Chimei Museum’s official website can claim a free ticket to the permanent exhibitions on that day. If online reservations are fully booked, visitors can also queue up on-site for free entry, with a limit of five free tickets per person.Everyone is welcome to take advantage of this opportunity and come visit.
