Korea’s Churros Chain Launches New Flavors: Churro Fries & Churro Cream Puffs

Street Churros, the wildly popular Korean churros specialty store, has been in Taiwan for a full year. To celebrate its anniversary, starting June 23, it is introducing a range of creative new flavors, including Churro Fries, Churro Cream Puffs, and five summer-themed “Bing Bing Achu” ice cream treats. For drinks, the store is rolling out five summer slushies and four colorful sparkling beverages.

The Churro Fries are made by frying the churro dough into thin, fry-like sticks, offering an even crispier texture. They can be placed in a shake cup and sprinkled with imported Korean onion cheese or New Orleans BBQ flavoring, and paired with sweet chili or tartar sauce. Priced at NT$80. The Churro Cream Puff is a new flavor not available in Korea—crispy churro shells are filled with freshly made custard, available in vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate flavors. Priced at NT$120.

As for the five summer-themed “Bing Bing Achu” ice cream treats, they are based on a renowned Italian ice cream brand and come in five different flavors: French passionfruit mango, Italian cherry, blueberry, and blackberry, as well as Taiwanese cantaloupe. These five flavors will rotate among five different stores. Priced at NT$120.

The five summer slushies include Purple Kyoho Grape, Lime Yogurt, Sea Salt Cheese Melon, Sunny Peach, and Coconut Golden Diamond (summer limited edition). The four colorful sparkling drinks are Pineapple Sparkler, Peach Sparkler, Strawberry Lime Sparkler, and Apple Lime Sparkler.
