Kaohsiung MRT announces schedule for “Snoopy Painted Train,” running from now until August

The globally beloved cartoon character—Snoopy—is turning 65 this year! The “Snoopy Painted Joyful Train,” which began operating on the Kaohsiung MRT starting April 3, will continue to provide passenger service until the end of August. To allow more people the chance to ride the adorable Snoopy train, Kaohsiung MRT has also specifically published the painted train’s schedule on its official website.

Kaohsiung MRT stated that in celebration of Snoopy’s 65th birthday, the painted train will remain in service until the end of August. Due to vehicle scheduling and regular maintenance, the Red Line Snoopy train runs approximately every 1.5 hours on average, while the Orange Line averages one train per hour. On Fridays and weekends, there is a fixed schedule, but the timing may vary monthly depending on vehicle dispatch.
