Magical Video of Alaska’s Night Sky Unveils the Mystery of the Northern Lights

Humans are forever curious about the mysteries of nature. From volcanic eruptions and massive typhoons to beautiful rainbows, we often find ourselves in awe of everything our planet has to offer.

When charged particles from the sun enter Earth’s atmosphere, the aurora borealis shimmers faintly overhead. This stunning phenomenon will leave you mesmerized by the vibrant and colorful Alaskan night sky. The video below was captured by American photographer Alexis Coram, who used time-lapse cinematography to preserve these beautiful celestial scenes forever.

Coram also described her video as follows: “There are so many things in this world that everyone should witness with their own eyes. I came to Alaska in February just hoping to see the aurora with my own eyes. And what I saw was an extraordinary, wild dance — a party in the sky. As a viewer, I was awestruck, enchanted, and felt like the luckiest girl in the world!”
