The “1600 Pandas World Tour – Taipei” exhibition came to a successful conclusion at the end of March. To celebrate the arrival of the 200,000th friend on the Taipei City Government’s official LINE account, the Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism specially held the “Add the Taipei City Government LINE Friend in May, Take a Paper Panda Home” event, where a total of 8 paper panda plush toys will be given to lucky citizens.

The lifelike paper pandas and paper black bears left a deep impression on many people. To celebrate the upcoming milestone of 200,000 friends on its official LINE account, the Taipei City Government has prepared 8 paper pandas as prizes. Citizens who add the Taipei City Government as a LINE friend by searching “@taipei” on LINE or searching “Taipei City Government” on the LINE “Official Accounts” page before the end of May, and then follow the instructions in the welcome message to submit correct contact information, will be entered into a draw to win an adorable paper panda. The Taipei City Department of Information and Tourism will announce the winners on June 4.

Among the 8 paper panda plush toys provided by the Taipei City Department of Information and Tourism, 3 are full-sized paper pandas that were as popular as those featured during the exhibition, and 5 are artist-designed limited-edition small handmade paper pandas.
