Vietnamese anti-China riots prompt Taiwanese businessmen to rush home; EVA Air: Additional flights depend on Ministry of Foreign Affairs' needs

Anti-China riots broke out in Vietnam’s southern Binh Duong and Dong Nai regions, affecting local Taiwanese businesses, prompting many Taiwanese expatriate families to urgently return to Taiwan. China Airlines announced this morning (14th) that it will deploy larger aircraft for Taipei–Ho Chi Minh City flights and increase seating capacity by 99 seats. EVA Air stated that there are still available seats on flights from Vietnam to Taiwan on the 15th, so there are currently no plans to add flights or use larger aircraft, but if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has such a need, EVA Air will also fully cooperate.
