Cai Hsin-hung, Director of the Public Affairs Office at Yunlang Tourism Group, said the key to winning the real-life Monopoly game lies in rolling higher numbers to advance further. Game tasks include collecting hugs from hotel guests, searching for art installations, and exploring Taiwan landmarks such as the National Palace Museum. The fastest players are expected to complete the challenge in just three days.
Participants selected through the preliminary round will not only get to tour major Taiwanese attractions and stay at the group’s hotels but also receive NT$4,999 in travel vouchers and daily breakfast and dinner. The event is divided into an international Taiwan group and a mainland China group. The international Taiwan group collaborates with the TV show "College Students Talk," which will select seed teams during the program. The mainland group partners exclusively with the popular travel website "Elong." Selected contestants will embark on the "Travel with Yunlang: 2014 Yunlang Monopoly" adventure on August 12 to compete for the championship.
