All-you-can-eat has always been a favorite among Taiwanese, and after the sensation caused by The Regent Taipei’s all-you-can-eat lobster promotion, although that event has ended, various establishments have launched limited-time all-you-can-eat lobster deals in June, allowing seafood lovers to indulge to their heart's content.

Daba Chaofang’s Hong Kong-style Dim Sum Buffet has also launched an all-you-can-eat lobster buffet – available only on weekends. Its flagship store in Neihu is offering a “Lobster All-You-Can-Eat” and seafood buffet package for just NT$799 on weekends. In addition to lobster, you can enjoy fresh seafood such as beef tripe, soft-shell crab, white shrimp, mussels, fresh fish, and stir-fried crab meat. There’s also a juice bar, salad made with chemical-free vegetables, champagne pigeon in soy sauce, cherry duck, slushies, an all-you-can-drink beer fridge, and cute panda-shaped buns and mushroom buns.

To welcome the summer vacation, Taipei Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel’s Explorers Kitchen presents the “Midsummer Seafood Feast.” Starting June 17, it offers unlimited Boston lobster miso soup and Irish spider crab during lunch and dinner. Adults pay NT$1,590 + 10%, children NT$795 + 10%.

This Boston lobster miso soup highlights the sweet, natural flavor of the seafood through simple steaming. Each bowl comes with half a Boston lobster served in Japanese miso soup. Also featured is the so-called “King of Crab Roe,” the Irish spider crab, which comes from the cold, clean deep waters of the UK. Due to its slow movement, it develops rich, plump crab roe and firm, delicate meat.
