Collaborative Branding is All the Rage: Mandarin Oriental Teams Up with Sisley to Launch Black Rose Indulgent Afternoon Tea

Collaborative afternoon tea offerings are all the rage. From June 26 to July 30, 2017, Mandarin Oriental Taipei joined forces with French luxury skincare brand Sisley for the first time to launch the “Black Rose Indulgent Afternoon Tea Experience” at the hotel’s Qīngyú Lounge on the first floor. Guests who enjoy the afternoon tea will also receive an exclusive Sisley Black Rose series gift. The experience starts from NT$1,300 + 10% service charge per person.

This collaborative afternoon tea set was created by the hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef Gregory Doyen, who drew inspiration from the key ingredient of the Sisley Black Rose line — “Premium Baccarat Black Rose.” The collection includes rose cream filling, rose pearls, raspberry hibiscus éclairs, rose doughnuts, and rose ganache with blackcurrant. Among them, the rose cream filling resembles skincare products, served in a transparent glass jar. It features a rose cream base paired with raspberry purée and almond sponge cake.
