Dine with a mosque and a seaside sunset—Overhead restaurant offers breathtaking views of landmarks

Have you ever tried dining next to a mosque in Lebanon? We’re not talking about looking up at it—we’re talking about being lifted 64 feet in the air by a crane, dining at eye level with the mosque itself. This creative concept comes from Events in the Sky and these unique dining tables, and who knows, maybe you’ll get the chance to have dinner next to the Eiffel Tower next.

However, such a dining experience doesn’t come cheap. The entire platform can accommodate about 22 people, including three waiters and chefs. A single meal costs around £12,545 (approximately NT$635,910), so unless you’re quite wealthy, it might be out of reach.

Next month, the aerial restaurant is scheduled to head to Brussels, Belgium—an area said to have the highest concentration of Michelin-starred chefs in the country, making it the perfect spot to enjoy fine cuisine in the sky. According to the Daily Mail, diners’ seats are like racing car harnesses, tightly secured and bolted with the strongest screws, all tested for safety, so there’s little to worry about on that front.
