One more body found at Fujian river plunge site; 4 tourists to return home this evening

Regarding the HowToTrip mainland tour group river plunge accident in Fujian, the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation issued an updated report on the afternoon of the 24th. The group includes tourists Gu Yaling, Fang Xiaofeng, Huang Shan, and Yang Kun, along with their family members, who are set to return home tonight. Other discharged passengers are currently having their passports reissued with assistance from the Tourism Bureau, the Taiwan Affairs Office, and the travel agency, as their passports were lost.

In addition, personnel from the Zhangzhou City Tourism Bureau stated that after a full day of search and rescue efforts, another female victim’s body was found at the Guokeng Bridge on the afternoon of the 24th. The body has been transferred to the morgue, but it is still pending further identification to confirm whether she is one of the five missing tourists. (Source: Central News Agency)
