Additional high-speed rail services to ease Dragon Boat Festival crowds; ticket sales start at midnight on the 28th

During the Taiwan High-Speed Rail’s Dragon Boat Festival transport period (May 30 to June 3), a total of 91 additional services have been scheduled, bringing the total number of train services to 766. To maximize transport capacity for passengers, the high-speed rail company has decided to add 2 more services (one southbound and one northbound) during peak periods on the evening of Friday, May 30, and the afternoon of Monday, June 2, to alleviate congestion. Passengers can purchase tickets for these additional services starting at midnight on Wednesday, May 28.

In addition, depending on crowding at stations, the high-speed rail company will dynamically add fully non-reserved seat services (excluding business class) that stop at all stations during key periods such as southbound services after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, and northbound services after 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, to transport passengers.
