EVA Air serves zongzi in-flight meals during Dragon Boat Festival; donkey-hide gelatin delicacy also on the menu

To allow passengers to experience the festive atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival while flying, EVA Air has specially prepared the “Imperial Beauty Donkey-Hide Gelatin Zongzi,” along with “Honey Cake Brulee Ice Zongzi” and “Matcha Red Bean Ice Zongzi” on June 2, Dragon Boat Festival, to celebrate the special occasion with onboard travelers.

The “Imperial Beauty Donkey-Hide Gelatin Zongzi” is made with donkey-hide gelatin—hailed as a “miracle blood tonic”—along with abalone, scallops, ginkgo, and pork belly, and is the champion creative zongzi product from The Westin Taipei Waldorf Astoria’s Six Fu Imperial Palace; the “Honey Cake Brulee Ice Zongzi” and “Matcha Red Bean Ice Zongzi” use refreshing arrowroot powder for the outer layer, paired with honey cake brulee and matcha red bean fillings, offering a light, bouncy, and smooth texture.

EVA Air stated that passengers flying with EVA Air from Taiwan on the Dragon Boat Festival (with departure times between 08:50 and 22:30) can enjoy the “Imperial Beauty Donkey-Hide Gelatin Zongzi,” as well as the “Honey Cake Brulee Ice Zongzi” and “Matcha Red Bean Ice Zongzi,” depending on the route and cabin class, aiming to accompany travelers in celebrating the festive spirit.
