“Diagon Alley” to Open at Universal Orlando Resort This Summer

Universal Orlando Resort in Florida will open its second Harry Potter-themed area this summer, named The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley—Harry Potter’s Wizarding World—Diagon Alley.

The centerpiece of this new area will be Gringotts, the goblin bank from the novels, immersing visitors in a quest for magical treasures. The original Potter-themed attraction is located in Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park, while the new one will be situated in the adjacent Universal Studios Florida park.

Tickets to both Harry Potter areas must be purchased together for entry, but you can travel between the two parks on the Hogwarts Express. Additionally, you can fully immerse yourself in the wizarding world surrounded by characters from the books, including Hagrid on his flying motorbike, the Weasley twins on their brooms, and the Knight Bus racing through the streets of London.

Universal Orlando Resort has also opened a new restaurant on City Walk, along with the 1,800-room Cabana Bay Beach Resort, where half of the rooms can accommodate six people. In the park, guests can ride thrilling roller coasters that climb steep hills, or enjoy singing goblins as you take the train into an underground gold mine.
