Er’erliao Sunrise Watching

Location: Square next to Erliau Observation Pavilion in Zuozhen
Description: Tainan’s Erliau is the lowest-altitude spot in Taiwan to view sunrise and sea of clouds. There’s no need for strenuous mountain trekking to enjoy this breathtaking scenery. Therefore, a “Welcome the First Light” event is held here, allowing the public to greet the first sunrise of the new year from an observation platform with an exceptional view. Ticket collection runs from December 11 to December 31, with a limit of 3,000 tickets.

10. Kaohsiung

Features: This year features an additional pre-show fireworks display. At 11:16 PM on December 31, a 36-minute magical welcome fireworks show will be launched, followed by the midnight 999-second New Year’s Eve fireworks at 12:00 AM.

11. Pingtung
