The "Water Country Garden" at the Water Park opens; free entry on the morning of June 6

The Taipei Water Department announced today (June 6) that the "Water Country Garden" within the Water Park has officially opened to the public, becoming a great spot for people to cool off and play in the water during the hot summer.

The Water Country Garden is located near the Gongguan shopping district, and its water play area is directly supplied by the Gongguan Water Treatment Plant. The water depth is about 40 to 50 centimeters. In addition to having lifeguards and water patrol assistants on duty, the area also features children’s slides, water slides, and other recreational facilities, making it suitable for family outings. Discounted or free admission is offered for children, while the full fare ranges from NT$50 to NT$80. Thanks to its low prices and convenient location, the garden attracts large numbers of visitors every year during its open season. According to statistics, the garden welcomed 220,000 visitors in 2013. This year, to celebrate the Water Festival, the park will introduce new amusement facilities such as a mini train and floating water beds by the end of June, along with a series of fun performances and activities.

To celebrate the opening of the garden, the Water Country Garden will offer free entry on the morning of June 7. From now until the end of August, visitors can also enjoy benefits such as NT$10 shopping vouchers with ticket purchases. For more details, please visit the official Water Park website.
