V Air mascot makes first public appearance – “Wei Bear” makes surprise appearances at three Taipei locations offering bear hugs

V Air’s mascot “Wei Bear” made its official debut this (14th) afternoon, appearing in downtown Taipei to deliver a delightful street surprise. Wei Bear showed up at Taipei’s Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Station Front Square, Dongcheng’s Tops City Plaza, and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi New World, performing V-Pose flash mob dances in sequence. After the performances, Wei Bear briefly stayed to interact with the crowd and offered free hugs (Free hugs).

The appearance of Wei Bear sent the crowd into a frenzy, with many exclaiming “Wei Bear is so cute!” as they took photos with the mascot. Meanwhile, V Air staff distributed limited-edition membership benefit bags at the event. In just three hours, the street activity attracted an estimated thousand interactions with Wei Bear, and the 600 limited-edition membership benefit bags were quickly given out.

In light of the recent tense social atmosphere, V Air sent “Wei Bear” to connect closely with fans, aiming to spread joy and share love through the street event, bringing people closer together. Wei Bear’s V-Pose dance with young people showcased energy and successfully gathered shoppers, also sparking enthusiasm among the crowd who danced along to Wei Bear’s rhythm. With its heart-shaped nose and round body, Wei Bear drew crowds eager for hugs.

Additionally, the membership benefit bags distributed by V Air on-site added to the festive atmosphere. Each bag contained a NT$100 equivalent cash voucher and the highly sought-after Wei Bear phone case, which drew long queues from eager participants.
