Whitney Peak Hotel, located in downtown Reno, Nevada, USA, has recently opened a new recreational facility—"the climbing wall"—which has caught the attention of netizens because of its unexpected location: the exterior wall of the hotel.

The British newspaper 《Daily Mail》humorously titled the feature “A way to avoid paying the bill,” describing this unprecedented new facility. The climbing wall at Whitney Peak Hotel extends along the building’s exterior all the way up to the rooftop, standing nearly 50 meters tall—it is currently the tallest climbing wall in the world. Its colorful protrusions and indentations, which climbers can grip or step on, guide the way like road signs, leading adventurers all the way to the top. There, climbers are rewarded with a panoramic view of Reno, set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains.

Visitors don’t need to stay at the hotel specifically to try the wall. This world’s tallest climbing wall will also be open to the public, with each climb costing £10 (approximately NT$505), giving thrill-seekers the chance to live out their Spider-Man fantasies while taking in the urban skyline of Reno.
