Led by Tourism Bureau Director-General Taiwan Oh Bear, mascots from theme parks nationwide are spreading love through charity events, inviting children and adults alike to experience in-depth cultural, scientific, and ecological adventures at three major theme park destinations.

The 2014 Taiwan Good Theme Parks Summer Joint Marketing campaign “Fun Summer, Double the Fun” officially kicked off on June 23. This year, theme parks across Taiwan are featuring the “Double the Fun: Buy One, Get One for a Kid” promotion. Led by Tourism Bureau Director-General Taiwan Oh Bear, mascots from theme parks nationwide are spreading love through charity events, inviting children and adults, including families of students from low-income households, to enjoy a fun-filled summer at theme parks and experience immersive cultural, scientific, and ecological adventures.

This year’s promotions from various theme parks, along with the special “Double the Fun: Buy One, Get One for a Kid” offer, include great deals such as free admission with accommodation bookings at Shanlinxi, Tayal Resort, Dongshi Forest Farm; buy one get one free at Jiangnan Resort and Little People’s Kingdom; discount coupons for adults with kids at Chilan Fairy Lake and West Lake Resort; free forest water play pool tickets with aerial cable car and park entry at Yunxian Paradise; a free water gun with half-price tickets at Shangri-La Paradise; 25% off ticket prices for students with examination permits at Baxian Paradise; a couple’s night package for just NT$399 at Lihpao Resort; free Sun Moon Lake gondola rides with park entry tickets at Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village; NT$790 tickets for college and above students at Ocean Park, plus a NT$200 cash voucher for on-site use; and a special water-and-land combo ticket for NT$799 at Leofoo Village Theme Park.
