ANA’s “Accompanying Children on a Dream Flight” Event Nurtures Future Aviation Talent with Love

With the assistance of Taoyuan County’s Education Bureau, ANA (All Nippon Airways) holds an annual event allowing underprivileged students to visit Taoyuan Airport for free to observe aircraft. This year, on June 27, ANA hosted its third “Accompanying Children on a Dream Flight” event, giving children a wonderful memory before summer vacation.

This year’s event invited 76 students from five schools in Daxi Township—Baici, Zhongxing, Yongfu, Meihua, and Ruixiang—to visit the maintenance hangar to observe the exterior structure of ANA aircraft. They also entered the cabin to see the interior cockpit equipment, and learned about aircraft maintenance, ground services, and flight attendant duties. ANA also held a paper airplane flying competition this year, with winning children receiving ANA Pokémon gifts.

According to ANA, the company has long organized outdoor learning activities such as aircraft observation field trips for children in Japan. Schools arrange for children to visit airplanes and explore the aviation industry, helping them dream big from a young age. ANA Taipei Branch Manager Kazunori Shimajima also hopes that through this event, they can give back to Taiwanese travelers who support the Japanese airline ANA, contribute to Taiwan’s education through corporate efforts, and nurture more future talent in aviation technology.
