Douliu was surrounded by adorable deer this Christmas 2017. For the first time, Yunlin County Government created a joyful Christmas town at the Pomelo Park in Douliu City, which officially lit up recently. In addition to a towering 10-meter-tall yellow Christmas tree, the Deer Forest captured the hearts of countless visitors. Glowing deer of all sizes watch over the forest at night, creating a romantic atmosphere that’s perfect for couples to enjoy a Christmas date — it’s expected to become the next hot photo spot.

The Pomelo Park square features three major themed light installations: “Deer Forest,” “Sleighing into Happiness,” and “Gifts Await.” In the Deer Forest, cute little deer are scattered throughout the park. There are also large glowing installations such as a romantic carriage, snowmen, and reindeer-pulled sleighs that make you want to get lost in the magical Christmas ambiance.

On December 24th, a Christmas evening party was held in the park, allowing visitors to celebrate the holiday together. Additionally, from December 22nd to 24th, the Pomelo Park also hosted a Red Nose Christmas Market, giving visitors to Douliu a chance to soak up the festive Christmas spirit.
