Recommended One-Day Itinerary at Hong Kong Ocean Park

Hong Kong Ocean Park stated that close interactions with animals help visitors build emotional connections. As such, the park’s academy has a team of over 60 education ambassadors responsible for animal exhibit interpretation and educational programs. In terms of conservation and educational outreach, in April 2013, the world’s leading authority on marine mammal care — the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA) — along with the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), announced that Hong Kong Ocean Park had been awarded accredited membership for the third consecutive five-year term. This recognition indicates that the park consistently meets the highest standards in animal care, conservation, and educational initiatives. Hong Kong Ocean Park is the first zoo facility outside the Americas to receive this accreditation.
