Asia’s Best!“Hualien Harmony Hotel” Upgrades Family Facilities – Now with Rock Climbing & Sandcastle Fun

In recent years, the family travel market has become a major trend. With summer vacation approaching, the “Hualien Harmony Hotel,” ranked No. 1 among Asia’s best family-friendly hotels by TripAdvisor, has launched summer activities for families. Not only have its family facilities been comprehensively upgraded, but kids can also enjoy unrestricted play.

According to medical research, structured playground equipment such as climbing, slides, and tunnels helps children aged 3–6 develop gross motor skills like crawling, running, jumping, climbing, and balancing. This not only promotes physical development but also allows kids to gain joy and confidence through play. With this in mind, this summer, Harmony Hotel Hualien has added a new wooden cabin in the outdoor sandbox area. The cabin features a climbing wall, allowing children to train their coordination and balance by using their hands and feet. Kids can also build sandcastle forts in the clean, fine sand of the sandbox area. Next to the sandbox, a children’s splash pool has been added, letting kids freely enjoy the cool comfort of water.

Additionally, the third-floor Forest of Joy has added two new children’s climbing areas. Designed for both kids and adults, these climbing zones enhance children’s physical fitness, grip strength, balance, and rhythm through fun climbing games, while also building courage and confidence to overcome challenges.
