Asian Cuisine + Special Performances | Star Cruises Celebrates National Days in August

To celebrate the national days of Singapore (August 9), India (August 15), Indonesia (August 17), and Malaysia (August 31), Star Cruises has planned a series of celebratory activities and special gourmet offerings throughout its August itineraries.
According to Star Cruises, “National Day-themed buffet dinners” will be offered every weekend in August, featuring dishes such as Singapore’s “Chilli Crab,” India’s “Roast Lamb,” Indonesia’s “Spicy Fried Chicken,” and Malaysia’s “Grilled Fish.” There will also be traditional Indian spiced tea (Masala Tea) or yogurt, Malaysia’s Teh Tarik (pulled tea), and the Singapore Sling cocktail.
In line with the National Day theme, Star Cruises’ fleet will also present a series of themed entertainment performances, as well as family-friendly Asian handicraft activities. Guests are welcome to join the cruise and take part in the vibrant Asian festivities this August.
