Today (17th), well-known cartoon characters such as SpongeBob, Old Pig, and Rilakkuma all made appearances in the high-speed rail carriages, delighting the children！It turns out this is a collaboration between domestic travel agencies and the high-speed rail operator to launch a summer-exclusive “Family Train,” even the huge and amusing “High-Speed Rail Bear” showed up, creating a cute and joyful atmosphere.

Summer is the peak season for family travel, and the high-speed rail has partnered with EasyTravel to launch package tours, transforming the first carriage of the train into a mini amusement park. The train not only features the most popular plush toys among children, but kids can also dress up in train captain uniforms to experience being a “Little Train Captain,” plus there are exciting magic shows to entertain young passengers during the ride.. Yoyo YU, General Manager of EasyTravel, stated that during the summer vacation, many families traveling domestically choose the high-speed rail to save time, and in family trips, parents often prioritize meeting their children’s needs. Therefore, they created this adorable themed carriage to attract families traveling with kids.

The themed high-speed rail family carriages currently offer only three tour packages, with two available schedules on July 26 and August 16. The Family Train departs from Taipei Station at 8:36 AM and arrives at the final destination, Zuoying Station, at 10:36 AM. Boarding is available at any of the eight stations across Taiwan; Yoyo YU said, “Initially, we hope to focus on delivering quality and building a good reputation, and we will gradually roll out similar tours in the future.” Regarding the high-speed rail family tours that opened for registration today, Yoyo YU expressed strong confidence in sales. He believes that projects that appeal to both parents and children will have a ripple effect, leading to multiple-fold growth in sales figures for subsequent related tours.
