Hyogo’s “Wind Chime Train” – 120 wind chimes sing the summer poem of the season

Plump, round wind chimes adorned with light blue, pink, and purple flowers are hung high on bamboo frames, creating a delightful sight just to behold. With the arrival of summer, Hyogo’s Nose Electric Railway has launched the “Wind Chime Train” from today, allowing passengers to enjoy a poetic summer melody as they travel to their destinations.

On the four-car train, the central two cars have been decorated with delicate bamboo frames woven across the ceiling, intertwined with pale and pastel-colored flowers, and then adorned with about 120 wind chimes hanging high. As the train sways, the wind chimes produce a crisp, tinkling sound. Below the chimes, there are also summer haiku poems submitted by local elementary school students and residents. Passengers not only enjoy the visual charm but also immerse themselves in the rich atmosphere of summer.
