Continue fulfilling dreams at work！Patrick Yeung appointed General Manager for Taiwan & Korea at Cathay Pacific & Dragonair

Cathay Pacific and Dragonair held a handover reception for the General Manager of Taiwan & Korea on July 31. The outgoing General Manager Vivian Lo will be reassigned as Airport General Manager at the Hong Kong headquarters, while the new General Manager will be Patrick Yeung.

Patrick Yeung officially assumed his role in Taiwan on July 22. He has been serving the Swire Group since 1980, bringing with him 34 years of rich and comprehensive experience. From 1998 to 2004, he served as Managing Director of Cathay Holidays; from 2004 to 2007, he was General Manager for Southeast Asia at Cathay Pacific; from 2007 to 2009, he was General Manager for China at Cathay Pacific / Dragonair; and in August 2011, he took over as CEO of Dragonair. During his tenure as CEO of Dragonair, he actively expanded new routes, led the rollout of new uniforms, upgraded cabin classes, and guided the team to receive numerous international awards.

The outgoing General Manager Vivian Lo stated at the handover reception that this year marks the 55th anniversary of Cathay Pacific’s service in Taiwan, and the airline has also been awarded the title of World’s Best Airline for the fourth time this year. Her three-year “Dream Fulfillment Work” initiative in Taiwan came to a perfect close, celebrated by members who have flown for 40 years and employees who have served for 40 years. She will now be reassigned back to Hong Kong headquarters as Airport General Manager.

The new General Manager Patrick Yeung then said that he will continue to take on the aviation mission of the “Dream Fulfillment Work,” serving as a bridge between Taiwan’s 622 employees, customers, members, travel and cargo agents, as well as partners.
