A heartwarming meal for the victims of the gas explosion—Pingzhongxin Teahouse in Kaohsiung offers free dim sum!

The Kaohsiung gas explosion shocked the entire nation, prompting many businesses to lend a helping hand by offering both love and warmth. The Honesty Hotel in Kaohsiung, operated by the Yunlang Group, previously provided three days of free accommodation for the victims. Today (6th), they announced that Pingzhongxin Teahouse, located at Dream Mall in Kaohsiung, will also offer free meals to residents from the hardest-hit areas.

A spokesperson from the Yunlan Tourism Group stated that Pingzhongxin Teahouse is located in the Qianzhen District, which is among the hardest-hit areas. Recognizing that victims have not had the opportunity for a proper, satisfying meal since the explosion, the teahouse will offer free push-cart dim sum and complimentary tea from tomorrow (7th) until August 15th. Meals will be available during lunch hours (11:00–14:00) and dinner hours (17:30–21:00) to residents from six specific road sections who present their ID cards and wait on-site: Section of Yixin Road from Kaisyuan Road to Guanghua Road; Section of Ersheng Road from Kaisyuan Road to Heping Road; Section of Sanduo Road from Wujhi Performing Arts Center to Heping Road; Section of Kaisyuan Road from Wucquan Street to Yixin Road; Section of Heping Road from Sanduo Road to Yixin Road; and Section of Guanghua Road from Yixin Road to Zhongshan Road.
