My friend wasn’t a bus driver, but he was the bus driver’s best partner—the bus technician. That particular passenger bus, which had been used to transport bodies, was cleaned up and prepared to go back on the road. My friend was going to get on board to install new dynamic display info so the bus could resume its normal route.

He said that at the time, it wasn’t the LED electronic dynamic displays we have now, but an older type that required technician assistance.
