Coral Reef Hotel’s infinity pool cleared for Popu Lady’s MV shoot in Guam

The girl group Popu Lady released their third album “More” this summer, and the sweet style of their lead love song “Hao Hao” perfectly matched the atmosphere of Guam. The five members traveled all the way to Guam to film music videos and a photobook at various scenic spots. Among them, the Coral Reef Hotel in Guam even cleared out its infinity pool exclusively for Popu Lady to capture the most beautiful poolside views. The scenery and the song complemented each other, filling the filming process with a romantic vibe across Guam.

The music video was directed by Golden Melody Award-winning director Chen Yingzhi, who traveled to Guam in advance to scout locations. He carefully selected a variety of uniquely beautiful spots, including the stunning Star Sand Beach, Fish Eye Park, Tagada Theme Park, the Church of the Sea, and the I Love GUAM wall, allowing Popu Lady to make a dreamy entrance. The sweet and youthful Popu Lady drew attention everywhere they went—even the general manager of the Coral Reef Hotel in Guam, who was on vacation, came by specially to visit the set and couldn’t help but ask shyly for a group photo after the shoot.

In this music video, Popu Lady held a mini beach concert, with the beautiful setting being the well-known Star Sand Beach in Guam. The production team specially built a small stage on the fine sand for the five girls to perform comfortably. They shot from the afternoon until evening while also enjoying the breathtaking sunset over the sea. Additionally, Popu Lady chartered Guam’s newest amphibious duck boat, starting from the city area to take in the sights on land before finally heading out to sea from the southern port. The moment the vehicle transformed into a boat by entering the water amazed everyone.

In the music video, Ting Xuan played the role of a heartbroken girl who travels abroad with her sisters to cheer up. According to the plot, she had to keep a sad expression throughout. Ting Xuan joked, “This was truly a test of my acting skills because, facing the bright sunshine and beautiful scenery, I had to completely hide my unstoppable good mood—I almost had to stop the shoot several times!” This music video, which fully captures the sisterhood of Popu Lady and the beautiful scenery of Guam, premiered on HIM International Music’s official YouTube channel on August 5.
