British Airways thinks so too. In September, they will launch the pet channel "Paws and Relax," hoping to ease the tension of long-haul passengers with heartwarming animal videos. Richard D’Cruze, the airline’s in-flight entertainment manager, holding a dog, said, “The inspiration comes from many studies which show that watching small animals helps humans release stress both physically and mentally, leading to full-body relaxation.”

In addition to showing real-life moments of small animals, "Paws and Relax" will also feature the animated series "Simon’s Cat," the documentary "The Secret Life of Cats," and Animal Planet’s "America’s Cutest Dog."
