Top 10 Must-Visit Attractions in Sydney！The Magical Birdcage Alley & Breathtaking Views of Watsons Bay

Featured Image Is this really downtown Sydney? Yes～Besides the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, which are definitely must-sees, there are still plenty of delicious food and fun activities close to the city center too

1.The Grounds of Alexandria

It’s the café with the legendary happy farm！But when I actually went, I found it’s an incredibly beautiful and super photogenic spot！And the food is also really good—this is important, because no matter how pretty a place is, bad food ruins everything～hahaha

And their coffee is also amazing！All in all, it’s a spot that’ll make your inner girlie heart go wild！

2. Luna Park

Luna Park is a small amusement park！And there’s no entrance fee, so just coming in to stroll around and soak up the amusement park atmosphere is great too！Plus—the view is absolutely stunning！It’s a perfect spot to admire the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House！

3.Bondi Beach

Probably the closest beach to the city center～And when you’re in Bondi, don’t miss the Bondi to Coogee Walk！It’s a super beautiful coastal walking route

4. Watsons Bay (My absolute favorite!!!)

Watsons Bay is definitely my favorite！！You can take a ferry there from Circular Quay

There’s also a coastal walking route, and I think it’s even more beautiful than the one in Bondi！The hiking trail is very easy to walk, but you’ll be stopping constantly because the views are just too gorgeous！You won’t be able to resist pausing for photos non-stop.

5. Manly Beach and North Head

Taking a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach is probably also one of the must-do attractions！But North Head is a bit lesser known！However, the scenery is absolutely magnificent！If you have time, you can go to Manly first and then hike to North Head.

But if you don’t want to spend that much time hiking, the Manly to Shelly Beach walk is also highly recommended！The photo above shows the scenery along the way

6. Sydney University looks like Hogwarts

I walked there from New Town before—New Town is also a very worthwhile place to visit！There’s lots of graffiti art, making it a very hipster spot. The vibe in New Town gives off that edgy feel—you’ll see lots of tattoos and people with black lipstick～

7. The magical Birdcage Alley

Honestly, this place is super magical, and it’s a great spot for photos haha, and it’s right in the city！Near Wynard Station！Searching Google for Angel Place should help you find it！There’s an IVY nightclub nearby, so it shouldn’t be too hard to locate！

8. PANCAKES ON.THE.ROCKS

This pancake is seriously delicious！I went there twice in a short span haha, and they sell pancake mix so you can make your own fluffy thick pancakes at home too！

9. Sydney Fish Market

Seafood lovers, especially oyster fans, don’t miss this！Just squeeze some lemon and you can eat multiple oysters in a row wow haha, I’d recommend coming here for breakfast one morning (but remember to eat something cooked first to avoid a sour stomach)

Quick tip: Eating outdoors means seagulls might snatch your oysters, so it’s safer to sit inside！

10. MESSINA Ice Cream Shop

It’s arguably my favorite ice cream shop in Sydney！They have so many flavors it’s often hard to choose haha, and if it’s not too busy, you can ask the staff to let you sample before deciding what to buy～There’s one in Circular Quay, so you can swing by after visiting the Opera House or Harbour Bridge
