Known for world-class innovation and diverse entertainment, Macau’s Studio City launched on the 13th a new pilgrimage destination—“Soho”—that gathers global cuisine, street art, and entertainment, aiming to make it Macau’s alternative “Soho!” On opening day, Asian movie star Nicholas Tse also made a special appearance at the inauguration ceremony to “fire up the stoves” of Soho.
Featuring a collection of fine wines and gourmet dishes, “Soho” houses 16 Chinese and Western restaurants and stylish bars. It emphasizes not only the selection and pairing of ingredients from various cuisines but also a dining atmosphere rich in street art culture. Studio City specially invited D*Face, director of London’s contemporary street art gallery, to create two large-scale mural artworks and graffiti inspired by “Soho,” allowing visitors to enjoy their meals surrounded by a vibrant street art culture.

Beyond the eye-catching street art, “Soho” also features a giant interactive digital screen that welcomes each guest in a personalized way. On another side, there’s an electromagnetic dot matrix screen resembling an airport flight information display, which moves along with the shadows and actions of customers, making it hard to leave. Additionally, the venue houses the world’s first musion screen set up in a dining and entertainment district, and the first in Hong Kong and Macau. It boasts world-leading 3D projection technology that blurs the line between virtual and real, delivering a breathtaking visual spectacle.
To embody the endless energy of the “Soho” spirit, while enjoying fine wine and cuisine, visitors can also watch performances by world-renowned street dancers, as well as comedians, magicians, and street musicians commonly seen in London and New York’s SOHO areas—offering an exciting and thrilling entertainment experience.
