One Ticket, Endless Exploration in Kaohsiung – The “Tourism Marketing Experience Pass” Offers Unlimited City Bus Rides

The Kaohsiung City Transportation Bureau has launched the “Tourism Marketing Experience Pass” from now until the end of this year. With this pass, residents can get a free transfer stamp and enjoy unlimited free rides on city buses on the same day. In the future, the program will be extended to tourist attractions, allowing visitors to enjoy free city bus rides on the same day by getting a free transfer stamp upon presenting their attraction ticket.

According to the Transportation Bureau, the pass includes options such as the All-Day Land & Sea Pass, the Cultural Tourism Bus One-Day Pass, the MRT Pass (Snoopy & Hamasen), and the Ferry Pass (Solar-Powered Love Boat, New Chi-Guo Sightseeing Harbor Cruise). With the Tourism Marketing Experience Pass, holders can enjoy unlimited free transfers on Kaohsiung city buses on the same day (excluding highway buses, medical buses, Chi-Mei National Freeway Express Buses, Harvard Express, and Chi-Guo Sightseeing Buses).

The Transportation Bureau stated that the current “All-Day Land & Sea Pass” sold by Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation, which includes MRT, bus, and ferry rides for NT$100, will now be bundled with the “Tourism Marketing Experience Pass,” reducing the price from NT$100 to NT$80. The “All-Day Land & Sea Pass” offered by the ferry company, which includes bus and ferry rides, will also be reduced from NT$50 to NT$30. Meanwhile, the fare for the six cultural tourism bus routes under the “Cultural Tourism Bus One-Day Pass” operated by Port City Bus and Southeast Bus will be reduced from NT$50 to NT$30.

In the future, the Tourism Marketing Experience Pass will be extended to popular attractions such as Shoushan Zoo, the British Consulate, the Pier-2 Art Center exhibitions, and the Hongmaogang Cultural Park. Visitors can get a free transfer stamp upon presenting their admission ticket to enjoy unlimited free city bus rides on the same day.
