TransAsia Airways stated that today (August 21), Flight GE351 from Taoyuan to Macau, affected by air traffic control at Taoyuan Airport, departed at 10:30 AM. Five minutes after takeoff, the captain detected an abnormal instrument signal. To ensure flight safety, the standard operating procedure was immediately initiated, leading to a return for inspection. After landing and maintenance, the issue was resolved and the aircraft was cleared for service again. The flight closed its doors at 11:50 AM and took off again for Macau at 12:16 PM.
TransAsia Airways emphasized that the return was due to an abnormal instrument signal, not cabin pressure issues or other conditions. With flight safety as the top priority, all 148 passengers on board landed safely, underwent immediate inspection, and the signal anomaly has been resolved. The aircraft has been cleared for service again.
