Ease Mid-Autumn Holiday Crowds: Taiwan Railways Adds Peak-Hour Trains

To meet travel demand during this year’s (2014) Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period, Taiwan Railways has planned to add 6 additional train services between Shulin and Taitung, and 1 service between Qidu and Kaohsiung during peak hours, totaling 7 extra services. Additionally, 49 extra cars will be added on the Eastern Line and 1 on the Western Line, making a total of 50 extra cars.August 29, 2014(Friday) at midnight, online, convenience store, and telephone voice reservations will open.
