No need to shop — you still can’t miss Bangkok’s “luxury ladies’ department store,” now a new landmark

The Central Embassy is backed by the Central Group, Thailand’s wealthiest corporate conglomerate. They require all brand outlets within the mall to be redesigned with the rule that “they must be different from their other locations.” This rule highlights the mall’s uniqueness and creates a visually delightful shopping environment. Local Thai tour guide Ah Hong said, “Many foreign visitors come just to see this department store, even if they don’t shop.”

The Central Embassy building stands 37 stories tall with a total area of 140,000 square meters. The department store occupies the lowest eight floors, featuring a looped interior design that ensures spacious and comfortable surroundings, making the shopping experience more enjoyable. Above the mall sits the 220-room luxury Park Hyatt Hotel.
