Mid-Autumn Holiday Approaches: Capital Bus Adds Extra “Taipei–Yilan” Trips for Commuters

This Saturday marks the start of the Mid-Autumn long holiday. On the 1st, Capital Bus announced that to better manage the increased passenger flow of those returning home and traveling during the Mid-Autumn holiday, it will add extra services on three national highway bus routes — 1570, 1571, and 1572 — between “Taipei and Yilan” from the 5th to the 8th.

According to Capital Bus’s plan, starting in the afternoon of the 5th, it will significantly increase services to accommodate travelers heading home, arranging one trip every one to two minutes during peak hours. In addition, starting at 6 p.m. that day, it will distribute 2,500 bread rolls to passengers until supplies run out.

At the same time, Capital Bus will adjust service frequency flexibly based on passenger volume, ensuring all passengers can board within 20 minutes and will keep running services until all travelers have been safely transported. (News source: Central News Agency)
