Theme park operators seize the opportunity during the Mid-Autumn holiday rush!Visitors whose names contain any of the characters “中 (middle), 秋 (autumn), 嫦 (Chang), 娥 (E), 吴 (Wu), 刚 (Gang), 后 (Hou), 羿 (Yi), 玉 (jade), 兔 (rabbit)” can enjoy a full day of play for just NT$100, instead of the regular price of NT$999.

Leofoo Village stated that to celebrate with the public, it has specially launched the 'Mid-Autumn Fun at Leofoo' event. Visitors can enjoy a discounted rate of NT$100 to enter either the Leofoo Village Theme Park or Leofoo Water Park by presenting ID proof. However, since the official website mentions that the name must include any of these “characters,” some PTT users commented, “Maybe even having those radicals in the name would count,” but ETtoday confirmed via phone call with the park in the morning,Leofoo Village clarified that the characters must be an exact match to qualify for the discount.

However,some netizens remarked it felt like a repeat of the 'Original Burning Incident,' questioning whether people might borrow health insurance cards or ID cards to take advantage.Others shared that during this year’s 228 holiday celebrating Leofoo Village’s 35th anniversary, there was also a special NT$100 offer. On March 1, 40,000 visitors entered, and many only managed to experience three rides in the nine-hour visit,“Don’t underestimate Taiwanese people’s love for a good bargain.”
