Macau’s newest luxury shopping mall — The Third Phase of “Sands Plaza” Opens. With the completion and launch of Phase III, the mall’s operational area will increase significantly by 70%, expanding the total retail space to 400,000 square TN. Thirty-six new retail stores have moved into Phase III of Sands Plaza, and an additional 15 restaurants and retail outlets are set to open before the end of the year.

With an investment of up to US$60 million, the third phase of Sands Plaza has expanded its tenant mix to include home decor brands, grocery stores, designer children's fashion labels, sportswear shops, and travel goods stores. It also offers a wider selection of men’s and women’s fashion, lifestyle products, and renowned cosmetics brands for customers to choose from. The entire plaza houses over 140 brands. The design concept of Sands Plaza centers around a flowing waterfall scene, with water gently cascading along the central axis. The development plan for Phase III has undergone a major renovation to optimize the original design.

Opened in 2012, Sands Plaza was Macau’s first shopping mall specifically designed for family visitors. It spans the Holiday Inn, Sheraton, and Conrad hotels and features climate-controlled walkways connecting it to the luxury shopping destination Four Seasons Place, as well as The Venetian Mall, which specializes in high-end street fashion. It also includes the extensive food court “Food Festival,” which offers 23 dining options. Macau’s largest interactive indoor theme park, Planet J, is set to open in Phase III in 2015. In addition, plans for the expansion and enhancement of Phase IV of the plaza have entered the preparation stage.
