Lie on the Pacific Ocean and gaze at the Qingshui Cliff！ Hualien’s only “seaside swimming pool”

As the hot summer arrives, who doesn’t want to jump into the water to cool off? This summer, Silks Place Taroko has planned three major fun themes for travelers, allowing them to take a yacht to the Qingshui Cliff and dive into Hualien’s only “seaside swimming pool,” immersing themselves in the Pacific Ocean and admiring the beauty of the Qingshui Cliff from sea level.

To allow guests to get closer to Hualien’s beautiful mountains and waters, Silks Place Taroko has specially partnered with local operators to combine a seaside yacht experience, cliff diving, and canoeing. Guests can set out to sea to visit the Qingshui Cliff, a three-star Michelin Green Guide recommended site, and enjoy Hualien’s only seaside swimming pool built over the ocean. Guests can jump from the yacht into the pool and gaze up at the steep cliffs and dramatic coastal scenery from sea level. Alternatively, they can hop on a beach buggy, race along the Chede Harbor, and then paddle a canoe to admire Hualien’s seamless sea and sky views. There are two different tour options, and guests can make a reservation with the hotel one week in advance.

In addition, Silks Place Taroko has also launched an upgraded “Little Hunters’ Experience Camp,” where children can learn about indigenous life and culture in the mountains, including how to make a fire, practice archery, and prepare bamboo tube rice bento boxes. The hotel’s indoor swimming pool will also be transformed into a summer-exclusive “Water Zoo,” featuring a variety of inflatable water toys, parent-child exclusive playtime, and a daily bubble party on the hotel rooftop every afternoon during the summer vacation—fun activities that both adults and kids will enjoy.

From now until August 31, Silks Place Taroko is offering the “Summer Breeze · One Night with Two Meals Stay Package.” For two people traveling together, the price starts at NT$3,899 per person on weekdays. The package includes one night in a Mountain Mist Room, buffet breakfast, a choice of either a Chinese set menu or Western buffet dinner, free use of hotel facilities, and optional add-ons such as the seaside yacht tour, beach buggy, and canoe experiences.
