The rooftop bar under the IHG brand Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung has caused a sensation since its launch. Its barrier-free design allows visitors to take in a 270-degree panoramic view of the romantic night scenery of Kaohsiung, the port city. The laid-back, slightly tipsy ambiance is perfect for summer evening dates. The venue has even brought “grass” to the rooftop, letting guests lounge on the lawn, sip fine wine, stargaze, and experience a different side of Kaohsiung at night.

Pier No. 1 will host a 90-day “Moonlight Lawn Music Concert,” transforming its original seating area by laying down turf, adding cushions, and using ship mooring bollards as tables—turning it into an open-air lawn bar full of harbor-city charm. There are also special offers on new products from major beer brands, allowing friends, sisters, and couples to snuggle up, enjoy the gentle evening breeze, and spend a romantic, tipsy night.

In addition, there are two Friday live music performances and special events every month to make Kaohsiung’s summer nights even livelier. For example, the A-Mei concert special cocktail event in August sees bartenders drawing inspiration from classic songs by A-Mei to create creative cocktails such as Black Eats Black, Listen to the Sea, and Come On If You Dare. There will also be a DJ playing REMIXes of A-Mei’s songs to amp up the atmosphere.
